The Rooms
Your room has been created to combine traditional Balinese aesthetics with modern style and comfort. The materials are local stones, folk-weave fabrics, cane bamboo, and weathered wood. The atmosphere is spacious and generous, cool and inviting, informal and relaxing. The lightweight cotton robes and comfortable slippers are for you to wear wherever and whenever you are in the resort. The canopied bed allows a cool breeze to waft around you while deterring the occasional mosquito. The sunken baths with hot and cold water and their views into private courtyard gardens, enhance the feeling of freedom and naturalness.
Our stylish room has become a favorite amongst guests to photograph their in-room moments. The modern beige and white stripes beautifully compliment the traditional thatched roof and furnishings, creating a super photogenic “zen” space for your spiritual getaway.
Safety First
We highly advise you to review the following safety information that briefly instructs how to react in an emergency. We must expect the unexpected and be as prepared as possible though the chances of an accident, a fire, earthquake or landslide are very minor. We arrange ongoing regular training for all of our staff, in conjunction with the local fire department.
Foot Pathways
When the weather in Bali is sometimes unreliable, which means from wet to dry and wet again, the pathway gets very moldy sometimes.
- Please mind your steps whenever walking on the pathway especially during evening time.
- Bring the flashlight with you in case when its too dark in the area.
Bathtub
Although each step at the bathtub is already equipped with anti slippery stickers, the marble floor might still be slippery when its wet. Be very careful when getting up from the bathtub right or before shower.
Swimming Pools
The infinity pool at the west extension and the two-tier pool are situated at the high position and facing directly to the river with the depth range of 50-140cm.
- Do not injure yourself, pay attention.
- Have fun but don’t get too excited when chilling out by the edge of the pool.
- Parents must supervise and take extra care of their children.
Thunderstorm and Lightning
There are some steps you should take to lower your chance of becoming a lightning strike statistic including:
- Do not stand underneath a natural lighting rod such as a tall, isolated tree.
- Get inside the room or any building around the resort; try to avoid walking through the pathways around rice-fields area or any open space.
- Avoid using electronic devices except for emergencies.
Fire
Fires can occur anywhere and at any time of the day or night.
- Immediately notify the Operator, dial “0”.
- Try to minimize the spread of fire by closing windows/doors if you feel comfortable.
- To use fire extinguisher to fight the fire if it is small, without taking the risk to yourself.
- Leave area as fast as possible and go to the assembly points (see map)
- Do not pack your luggage during the fire; your safety is the main priority.
If you are in the smoke, take a breath and slowly crawl on the floor towards the exit door – less smoke in the lower area.
When you are in the room and the fire is outside:
- Stay in the room if the way out is blocked please to wait for further instruction.
- Try to secure important belongings such as: passport, wallet, etc.
- Turn off the air conditioner if necessary.
- Place wet towels under the door, it can avoid the smoke coming into your room.
- Fill the rubbish bin with water and place it close to you in order to keep the towel wet.
Earthquakes
The number of earthquakes in Bali, especially Ubud is relatively very slow and even when it happens we might not feel it. However, when one occurs:
- Ride out the shaking.
- Get out from the room quickly; unless the big one comes, follow the picture instructions.
- Move away from buildings, trees and exposed wires but try not to run.
- Go to the assembly points.

We have marked several evacuation areas at the resort as shown on the map. To ensure your personal safety, it is necessary to proceed immediately to your closest evacuation area.
